Alicia's Diner, Route 38, Pelham, NH
Located in a small strip mall the exterior of Alicia's doesn't stand out from its neighbors. It does have a large enough sign to be easily seen from the street.
Inside the diner the first impression is size, the place has plenty of
room and isn't at all crowded. It's also very bright and clean.
When we visited on a Sunday morning it was busy, but there was no wait. There's also no sign to indicate if a waitress will seat you, or if one should find a seat on their own. While I was looking around a man, who later was busing tables, pointed us to an empty booth.
Service was good...we were there only a couple of minutes before a
waitress asked for our drink order. Our coffee and juice were on the table in just a couple of minutes and she then took our food order.
The menu was more than adequate for a breakfast diner (they also do lunch), with selections ranging from biscuits with sausage and gravy to eggs and steak tips. The prices were reasonable also.
My only complaint with this diner was that my "over hard" eggs were not done well enough. The yolks were still quite liquid, and one of the eggs had runny whites.
